Welcome to my site. I am Lex Brand, photographer turned Director of Photography. My love for camera work started after I was asked to shoot a few commercials. I have dedicated my work to the film camera ever since. The perfect frame is what I live for, however small or grand the project at hand.

My inspiration comes from movies of all times, nature, people, photography and life in general. Everything carries a story, so anything can spark a good idea. My style is diverse, but I like my work to be strong, outspoken and with a certain timelesness, whether it's drama or a commercial.

I believe being a good Director of Photography is not only understanding the job, but also understanding the bigger picture. The process and the people involved are as important as the result. That's why I put together teams with skilled professionals who are passionate about their work and, like me, go that extra mile.
